Buying in Downriver? Have someone digging on your side.

Most agents unlock the door and wait for you to fall in love. I do the opposite — I research every home you're serious about the way I'd research my own, so the problems that cost buyers thousands get caught before you're attached. Then I negotiate hard and get you to closing with zero surprises.

What you get

An advocate, not just a door-opener

Buying a home is the biggest purchase most people ever make — and in a market where good Downriver homes move fast, it's easy to feel rushed into a decision you can't undo. My job is to slow the risk down and speed the right home up. With 19 years and 517+ transactions behind me and my Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) training, here's what that looks like for you:

Deep property research

Permit history, square footage on file with the city, flood-zone position, tax and title flags — I dig into every home you're serious about before you write an offer, not after.

Real market intelligence

What's actually selling, for how much, and how fast — city by city. You'll never overpay because we're guessing, and you'll know a good deal the moment it appears.

Fierce, prepared negotiation

Prepared, calm, and firm. I negotiate price, terms, repairs, and timelines to protect your money — especially in a multiple-offer situation.

Zero surprises at closing

I manage the inspection, appraisal, and title so nothing blows up at the table. If something's wrong, you'll hear it from me early — in kindness, but always the truth.

The path

How buying with me actually goes

Get pre-approved first

Before we tour a thing, you'll know your true budget and monthly cost. I'll connect you with trusted local lenders so your offer lands strong.

Build your real criteria

We sit down and get specific — commute, must-haves, deal-breakers, timeline. I'd rather find the home than show you fifty.

Tour & investigate

For every home you love, I pull the research. You'll see what's behind it — not just the fresh paint.

Write a strong, protected offer

Priced right, with the contingencies that protect you. I present it to win without leaving you exposed.

Inspect, negotiate, close

I run the inspection and appraisal, renegotiate where it's warranted, and coordinate title and closing so keys land in your hand cleanly.

"I dig into every home you're buying the same way I'd dig into my own. That's the whole difference."

Buyer questions people ask first

Straight answers

What does a buyer's agent cost me? +

How I'm paid is agreed in writing up front, before you owe anything. In many Downriver transactions the compensation is still covered through the deal; in others it's negotiated between the parties. Either way, I'll walk you through exactly how it works for your situation at the very start — no surprises, no fine print.

Should I get pre-approved before we start looking? +

Yes — it's the single best first move. A real pre-approval tells you your true budget and makes your offer far stronger when the right home appears. I can connect you with excellent local lenders before we tour anything.

How many homes will we look at? +

As many as it takes — but my goal is fewer, better showings. The deeper research I do up front means we spend our time on homes that actually fit, not chasing listings that were never right.

How do you help me win in a competitive market? +

Preparation. Pre-approval in hand, the property researched, and an offer structured to stand out on more than just price — terms, timing, and the right contingencies. I negotiate calmly and firmly so you win the home without overpaying or dropping protections you'll regret.

I'm a first-time buyer and nervous. Can you help? +

Absolutely — it's one of my favorite parts of the job. I explain every step in plain English and never let you feel rushed. Start with my First-Time Buyer's Guide to Downriver, then let's talk.
